Helite Airnest Kids Airbag Vest

The Helite Airbag Vest is preferred by motorcyclists who want to continue using their existing motorbike jacket. The great advantage of the Airnest is its universal applicability. You only need one airbag waistcoat for the entire season, regardless of the outside temperature or the destination, and you are therefore very flexible. The Airnest is light, compact and always with you. Its elaborate workmanship guarantees a long life. The 17-24 litres (depending on size) of protective volume provide protection for the neck, spine, chest, pelvis, coccyx, head, collarbone and internal organs.

KNOX Protector

Activation:
The release is effected by a rip cord, which is firmly attached to the vehicle and is plugged into the waistcoat when getting on and off. It is almost impossible for the ripcord to be accidentally triggered by forgetting to release it when getting off the vehicle, as a force of 30 kg (300 N) is required to activate the airbag. By simply replacing the CO2 cartridge, the waistcoat is immediately ready for use again.

When triggered, the system has the optimum pressure after 80 - 100 milliseconds (depending on size) to provide the full protective effect. This time span has been determined on the basis of Helite's many years of experience and numerous calculations and tests to provide the optimum pressure to protect the body at the exact moment of impact. Important parts of the body are already protected during the release process, when the full pressure has not yet been reached.
