Helite Vented 2.0 Airbag Textile Jacket

The Helite Vented Jacket is the perfect companion on hot days. Large mesh panels ensure optimal ventilation, and if the rain hits or the wind gets too uncomfortable, a separate inner jacket with a Humax membrane provides wind and water resistance. The upper material is made of highly abrasion-resistant Cordura fabric, with Superfabric material on the shoulders and elbows.

The protective volume of the integrated airbag system is 17 - 24 liters. It is evenly distributed throughout the upper body and thus protects the neck, spine, chest, pelvis, coccyx, head, clavicle and internal organs. In addition to providing great impact protection, the airbag also stabilizes the entire upper body.

Activation:

• The airbag system is activated via a special cable that is firmly connected to the vehicle and to the vest. Accidental deployment by forgetting to disconnect the cable when dismounting the motorcycle is highly unlikely, as the airbag requires 300 Nm (30 kg) of force to deploy.
• When the system is activated, it reaches the optimal pressure after 100 milliseconds to create a full protective effect. This period has been determined based on Helite's many years of experience and numerous calculations and tests in order to ensure the optimal pressure that protects the body precisely at the time of impact. Important parts of the body are protected already in the activation process, if full pressure is not yet reached.
