• In the rear sizes, the TOURANCE™ NEXT tires feature a dual compound solution with a central band approximately 40 mm wide to completely cover the footprint area when driving straight, and containing 50% silica and carbon black, specifically designed to optimize mileage and power grip.
• The side compound is 100% silica, which ensures maximum chemical grip on wet surfaces and cornering grip and traction in all other conditions.
• The front sizes are made with a high silica content (>50%) mixed with various types of polymers and resins, the formulation of which ensures exceptional handling and grip both during braking and cornering.
• The tread pattern layout ensures that the entire silica compound is available as soon as the trajectory changes from straight to banked, which provides a high level of driving confidence and a sense of security.
• The TOURANCE™ NEXT profile is rounded in the semi-banked part and flatter towards the center.
• The sidewalls feature a more rounded profile, which, together with a stiffer internal structure, provides better damping capacity to improve ride comfort, cushioning when driving on potholes and, most importantly, interaction with ABS systems, whose pulsating action requires the tire to properly absorb forces to enhance the anti-lock braking effect.
