TESANÍA INDUSTRIAL SL (ARTEIN) was created in Girona in 1958 by Mr. Juan José Cortés Pueyo with the aim of manufacturing special industrial gaskets in this city, which at that time lacked this service.

In 2005, ARTEIN changed its commercial name to ARTEIN GASKETS, in response to its export vocation.
