LOCTITE 5940 - Black Silicone Sealant - 310ml

LOCTITE® SI 5940 is a black, 1-component, room temperature vulcanizing acetoxy silicone sealant. Mainly used as a general purpose sealing and bonding material, gap-filling rubber adhesive or in-situ sealant. It adheres to clean metal, glass, most types of unoiled wood, silicone resin, vulcanized silicone resin, ceramics, natural and synthetic fibers, and many painted and plastic surfaces.

Features:

• Excellent resistance to aging, shrinkage, cracking and discoloration.
• Solvent free.
• Cures in moist air to form a strong, flexible, water and oil resistant silicone rubber gasket.
• Typically used where operating temperatures range from -50°C to +200°C and can intermittently reach up to +220°C.
