The Thor motocross gear brand was founded in 1968 by historic Swedish rider Torsten Hallman. Hallman was one of the pioneers of motocross success. Hallman was a four-time world champion, which led to his success throughout this motocross market. Thor's first products were racing pants and gloves.

Today, with more than 40 years in the industry, the product line has expanded to include all the equipment needed for MX riding. Products such as jerseys, pants, gloves, helmets, boots and protective gear are often seen throughout the MX World Championships.
