  • Using a sports (high-performance) exhaust system.
  • To increase the vehicle's power and sensitivity to accelerator pedal input.
  • For pulling or pushing maneuvers: pulling a trailed spreader, pushing snow with a knife, etc.
  • For use in difficult conditions: in deep mud, sand, and elsewhere.
