This is a helmet designed specifically for youth and children. Every detail - from the weight of the shell to the density of the inner filling - is adapted to the strength of the child’s neck and body proportions, ensuring maximum protection without excessive load.

• The all-new SM3 helmet is anatomically adapted to children and youth. It is ideal for cross (MX), Enduro and off-road riding.
• Lightweight but extremely safe: The helmet is made of a special polymer blend. The shell walls of variable thickness ensure the best possible protection while maintaining an extremely low weight - the helmet weighs only 1060 g.
• Shock absorption: The inner layer of several different densities guarantees that the impact force is properly absorbed, while the helmet remains light.
• Safety nose: A patented system ensures that the helmet’s nose detaches under a set force. This protects the child’s neck from additional loads in the event of a fall.
• Strict safety standards: Alpinestars applies its own internal standards to this helmet, which are even stricter than the official ones. The chin area is additionally reinforced for the best impact resistance.
• Fastening: The most reliable stainless steel D-rings are used to ensure a firm hold on the helmet.
• Maximum ventilation: As many as 10 air intakes and 7 exhausts guarantee excellent air circulation. The helmet's nose is designed to direct cooling air directly to the ventilation holes.
