Orbitrade Anti-corrosion aluminum block for ship's drive DPH / DPR / DPI

This zinc anode has a single, but vital function - to protect the ship's gear from corrosion (rusting). When two dissimilar metals (for example, an aluminum boat leg and a steel propeller shaft) are exposed to salt water, a weak electric current appears between them. This current begins to "eat" the weaker metal. To prevent the expensive ship's gear from rusting, this anode is screwed onto it. It is made of an alloy that is attacked first by electricity and corrosion.
