Orbitrade anode cooling system D4 / D6

This small anode is screwed directly into the engine cooling system. It protects the internal parts of the engine (heat exchanger, cooler) from corrosion from the inside. As seawater flows through the engine cooling system, it can cause metal corrosion. This anode is designed to prevent expensive engine cooling components from rusting. This anode is one of the most commonly replaced parts during annual engine service.
