Snowmobile skis have extremely sharp metal/carbide guide blades on the bottom, which help control the motorcycle on the ice. However, when driving a snowmobile into a trailer or onto a trailer ramp, these blades severely scratch, chip, and irreparably damage the wooden or aluminum trailer bottom.These special plastic tracks are screwed to the bottom of the trailer. With them, the skis of the snowmobile slide into the trailer easily and without any friction, and the sharp blades remain suspended in the deep inner channel of these plastics, without touching the surface of the trailer at all.
