VERTEX Titanium Exhaust Valve Kawasaki KX 450 19->

Vertex’s titanium replacement valves are crafted from military-spec certified TI3Al titanium alloy. Forged from a single blank, grain flow is improved to enhance the mechanical characteristics of the valve without having to resort to welding. Special PVD, CVD, and CrN coatings are used to provide low friction surfaces that reduce heat generation and resist carbon build-up. These coatings allow alloys like titanium to be coated to an ultra smooth surface while reaching hardness levels 5x that of high speed steel. The goal is to provide you a valve that will endure the harshest racing conditions.
